FRANK SAEMER

Frank is a seasoned reinsurance executive with more than 27 years of experience in international business development, global risk management, M&A, and global strategy formulation and deployment.  He has worked for SCOR Global Life (the life and health reinsurance arm of the French reinsurer SCOR), Revios, Gerling Global Re and Sydass, a German insurance consulting firm.

As part of his work in the Executive Leadership Team at SCOR Global Life, Frank helped launch and lead in 2017 a multi-year journey to explore and clarify the organization’s purpose and vision, and to develop practices, systems, and processes bringing to life the purpose and embedding it across the organization. In this work he lived his passion for authentic leadership and a humane organization centered around a shared and inspiring purpose and helped define and implement a strategy based on purpose, conscious leadership, and a flourishing organization.

An important phase in his life was a half year Sabbatical in 2016 during which he not only disconnected from work and reconnected to nature during extended travels, but deeply reflected and worked on clarifying his values, purpose and leadership in the organizational context. He likes to face new questions and topics which allow him to employ his love for exploration and learning and to grow as a leader and as a person.

Frank is now an independent consultant. He holds a Diploma degree in Mathematics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Cologne.
